The Larissa of the Sea Blue Larimar Pebble Necklace is a lot like an afternoon walk along a Caribbean shore in the Dominican Republic where the milky blue volcanic mineral Larimar comes from. Larimar pebbles have been naturally found in that region for thousands of years, tumbled by the actions of the sea.
The necklace is formed with 3 knotted strands of Larimar pebbles and is closed with an alloy magnet clasp.
Larimar
Larimar received it's name from an American Peace Corps volunteer who combined the name of his daughter Larissa with the Spanish word for sea (Mar).
Larimar is considered a healing stone, and said to be finely tuned to the human body particularly to the throat area. It is said that it increases speech and communication skills and supports the body’s natural healing process.
